Every year in October the international FIS Alpine Ski World Cup has its season opening in Sölden. Rightly so. After all, the Rettenbach glacier in Sölden is famous for its reliable snow conditions and its challenging and steep downhill run. If you feel like experiencing this spectacle or any of the other fantastic local events, we recommend booking an apartment in Sölden right away.

Anybody spending their ski holiday in Sölden must not miss out on the après-ski experience. If you feel like stopping for a nightcap after a day on the slopes, the après-ski bars lined up along the main road starting at the Giggijochbahn base station will be ready and waiting for you.
