Over the last few years Sölden has evolved into a real insider’s adventure for mountain bikers in Tirol. “Knights in shining lycra” will find bike paths, dirt roads and single tracks to service their downhill appetite. At the southern end of the village there is a new bike trail park installed this year. Freeride and downhill riders will get the kick they need speeding down the downhill track from Gaislachkogel.

The Ötztal region offers rock climbers more than twenty climbing crags with over 750 routes including all levels of difficulty. Seven via ferratas (fixed rope routes) and numerous multi-pitch climbing routes will make a climber’s heart jump for joy.
